Self Catering Cottages at Portavadie, Argyll

Overlooking our new Portavadie Marina development with magnificent views towards Loch Fyne and the Kintyre Peninsula, our five self catering cottages provide an ideal setting to relax and unwind in this beautiful unspoiled area of Argyll.
Although ‘off the beaten track’, our self catering cottages at Portavadie are less than two hours from Glasgow and enjoy the benefits of the nearby villages of Tighnabruaich, Kames and Otter Ferry, which offer shops and services, golf, and a variety of good eating places specialising in local seafood, home-farmed meat, game and wild venison.
The picturesque village of Tarbert is a short ferry crossing from Portavadie, and the attractions of Oban and historic Inveraray a scenic drive away.
Our cottages offer a rare double, a peaceful situation with lots to do. Portavadie and the Cowal Peninsula offer wonderful opportunities for a range of outdoor activities including angling, golf, forest walks, hill walking, bird watching, horse riding, cycling, sailing and diving, or enjoy a quiet picnic on one of the area’s secluded sandy beaches.
Walkers may like to tackle sections of the Cowal Way, a 47 mile walk which starts at Portavadie, finishing at Loch Long. Wildlife enthusiasts may see red deer, otters, peregrine falcons, and a wonderful variety of seabirds and marine life including basking sharks, minke whales, seals, dolphins and porpoises.
